How many years have you been in business and what do like the most about it?

The Mansion has been open after our restoration for only 1 short year! We love that we have been able to restore this stunning Historical Mansion back to its former glory for both Historical Tours and Weddings and Special Events. There is just something truly beautiful and special in creating new memories in a place filled with such history.

What is your style? (if applicable – for planners, florists, bakers, photo/video, dress designers, etc)

The Mansion was built in 1925, so you definitely get a feel of the roaring ’20s in the Mansion. Its timeless beauty and detail shining through the original Art Deco chandelier in the foyer, and stunning wrought iron throughout the property. The whole atmosphere of the Mansion is elegant and romantic, but still neutral enough for any style or theme for an event.

What steps do you take to make the couple’s experience with you as pleasant and memorable as possible?

We pride ourselves in our communication between our team and our clients. We never want to be the venue that’s hard to get in contact with, and we always make ourselves readily available for any questions that our clients may have. We may not offer in house coordination but we do want our clients to take comfort in our teams abilities and attention to detail regardless. We also make sure to reach out to our clients planners right away to build that relationship and open communication to ensure that the client is getting exactly what they want and need.

Do you have a piece of advice for engaged couples?

Honestly, the best advice I can give is, read your contracts! As a venue, and although we don’t have to many rules here at the Mansion, it is disheartening to have to tell a couple on the day of their wedding that what they wanted can’t be done. For example, you really wanted a confetti cannon to go off during your first dance but didn’t realize that there is a clean up fee involved that you didn’t budget for. We never want to tell our clients no, or send a bill later for something that could have easily been avoided or discussed prior. We’re always willing to discuss alternate ideas to the few “no-no’s” but we can’t give advice if we don’t know what you had in mind until the day of!
